Founder at Alaska Fitness
Several weeks of summer, 2019-2020.
Alaska was the name of my fitness ice cream brand, representing my first business idea brought to life. Its products were gourmet 'Geladões'—cylindrical ice creams encased in thin plastic film, enriched with protein and designed for beach consumption. Despite the substantial groundwork—including ingredient sourcing, branding, and some marketing—the venture faced challenges. My initial excitement was met with mixed consumer reception and logistical difficulties in product transportation. Sales were made, both in-person and via social media, but the challenge of keeping the ice creams frozen and limited profitability led me to reconsider the business's viability as there were no clear pathways to scale. Ultimately, I decided to discontinue Alaska, enjoying the remaining stock personally.
